DocCraft is developed by Legit. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your data. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, and our architecture is designed around one core principle: your documents belong strictly to you.
DocCraft is a comprehensive on-device document and image studio providing photo resizing, digital signatures, smart document scanning, and PDF editing.
2. 100% On-Device Processing
All photo resizing, signature creation, camera document scanning, and PDF processing in DocCraft happens entirely on your physical device.
Your images, signatures, admit cards, and documents are never transmitted to external cloud servers for on-device features. Processing is performed locally using your smartphone's native processor and memory, ensuring confidential paperwork remains private, secure, and under your control.
3. Device Permissions & Usage
DocCraft requests the following device permissions solely to provide user-initiated document tools:
- Camera — Used to take photos for passport resizing or scan paper documents with perspective correction. Photos captured are processed locally and never uploaded.
- Photo Picker / System Storage — Uses the modern Android Photo Picker to import images you explicitly select for resizing, cropping, or combining into PDFs.
- Saved Files & Downloads — Used to save your generated PDFs, compressed documents, and transparent signatures back to your device storage.
No files accessed through these permissions are ever harvested, indexed, or shared with any third party.
4. Zero Telemetry & No Tracking
DocCraft does not collect, track, or sell your personal data. We do not integrate tracking SDKs, device fingerprinting, or user analytics. No device identifiers, location records, or contact details are harvested.
5. Optional Cloud Conversion (If Explicitly Requested)
Certain heavy office conversions (such as complex DOCX to PDF or XLSX conversion) may offer optional cloud-accelerated processing in the future.
When you explicitly choose to use a cloud feature, the file is securely transmitted over TLS 1.3 encryption, converted immediately, and deleted permanently from temporary memory. No copies are retained, analyzed, or shared.
